The Bundaberg golf day held at the prestigious Coral Cove Golf Club has become a homage to the legendary Australian wicket-keeper who was a great mate and mentor to so many within the Bulls Masters organisation.
The inaugural event was won by Rod’s former captain, Greg Chappell in the first instalment of the Rod Marsh Charity Invitational.
The Ambrose tournament was well supported by local businesses and cricket supporters. A big thanks must go to Devcore Property Group who have been a supporter of the Bulls Masters for the past few years. Bundaberg Toyota, Ulton Financial Group, Takalvans, Bundaberg McDonalds, Rum City Foods and Hitz Fm 93.9 radio station were all sponsors of the golf day which supports the Bundaberg Cricket Association.

Australia’s most successful ever cricker captain, Steve Waugh came up from Sydney to support the event which added to the already strong line-up of Queensland super stars including Allan Border, Ian Healy, Michael Kasprowicz, Carl Rackemann and many, many more!
The wind was blowing hard but the sun was out and it was a spectacular yet tough day of golf but at the end of the day, the team from Rum City Foods was a run away winner with Bulls Masters legend Ken Healy on the winning side!
